Rose Scott (Coach Rose) is a fitness enthusiast who enjoys exercise and healthful living. She is passionate about her clients’ progress and managing pain by bringing relief through exercise and gentle techniques. Rose has experience working with back pain, arthritis, rotator cuff pain, scoliosis, osteoporosis, diabetes, high blood pressure, senior health and numerous other conditions. Her exercise program is designed based upon the client’s strengths, physical limitations and goals. Rose has worked with doctors’ guidelines helping clients to prepare for surgery and providing recovery exercises afterward. Her exercises are specific for individual needs.
Rose struggled with back pain most of her adult life due to a high school basketball injury and saw chiropractors regularly. She discovered that most pain is caused by muscular imbalances. Today she helps others manage pain in the body through exercise and gentle techniques. Rose is a Certified Personal Trainer with the American College of Sports Medicine and a Biomechanics Method Corrective Exercise Specialist. She is First Aid, AED and CPR certified and holds the Exercise is Medicine credential from ACSM. Rose has a BS in Business Administration from Western Governors University. Rose is also certified as an Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Reiki Level 2 Practitioner.
