Week 7

February 26, 2018 – I have purchased a blood glucose meter and have been checking my blood glucose and the results are good. My body fat is now at 17 % however my weight loss has stagnated. Although I am so happy to get back into my size 4 Levi’s jeans on Friday I realized that my macronutrients and calories have to be modified.

By the way, I just wanted to reiterate that I don’t believe in diets. They have never worked for me. This change to the keto lifestyle is something that I can maintain for the rest of my life if I choose to. Everyone’s body handles food differently -- - carbs and me Do Not Agree. Therefore, I choose to eliminate dense carbs from my diet. Sugar has always given me a headache. I will eventually reintroduce a few healthy carbohydrate foods back in the future such as berries, beans, and maybe some other items. I will see how my body reacts and decide where to go from there in the future after I reach my goal.
