Ingredients
1 package of shirataki pasta
1 cup of Caribbean blend frozen vegetables
½ package of smoked tofu or 4 oz. diced and cooked chicken or beef
1 Tbsp. olive oil
½ small onion (chopped)
1 tsp. Kirkland no-salt seasoning
¼ tsp. Himalayan sea salt
¼ tsp. Mrs. Dash Caribbean citrus
1/8 tsp. ground ginger
¼ tsp. turmeric
Directions
Place olive oil in skillet on low heat. Add onions and stir frequently until cooked. Prepare shirataki noodles according to package directions (about 4 minutes). Add frozen vegetables and seasonings. Add protein such as chicken, beef or tofu. Rinse and dry noodles then add to stir fry mixture and enjoy. Serves 2.
Note: Miracle Shirataki Noodles are relatively low in calories and made from konjac yam. It is usually packaged in liquid and can be purchased at Sprouts, Whole Foods, Asian markets or through online health stores such as Vitacost. They are remarkably filling and a package typically contains a total of 0 calories.
